This election doesn’t worth spilling blood – Bode George

Former deputy national chairman of the People's
Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Olabode George, has
said the coming general election does not worth
spilling of the blood of any Nigerian.

Speaking to Vanguard on phone yesterday ahead of
tomorrow's presidential election, Chief George noted
the outcome of the general election in whatever form
will determine the political future of the country.

According to him, what Nigerians need this time is
for everybody to turn out enmasse and vote
peacefully in accordance with their conscience.

He noted: "This election is very Important for the
future of this country. We are begging and appealing
to our people to avoid violence . We had seen and
heard from all the candidates .

"Let them sit back and think deeply and pray that they
will make whatever good choice they want to make
and vote conscientiously. We beg those handlers that
this is not the time to embark on any undertakers job
because that is what will flare up passion.

"We don't want any blood to be spilled. We need to
surprise the whole world that this nation has come of
age. Lets all of us cast our votes peacefully, because
the blood of a single Nigerian does not worth spilling
because somebody want to be president or
somebody will win or lose. At the end of the day, I
pray that all be well."
