We heard a deadly disease has hit Ondo and it has killed people many people already (READ)

Residents of Irele township in Ondo state have
been hit by a deadly disease which is similar to
but more dangerous than Ebola.

According to reports, the victims wake up blind,
with a terrible headache and die within a few
hours.

At least 15 people who contracted the disease are
feared dead.

Ondo state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Dayo
Adeyanju , told Channels Television that the
disease was discovered yesterday but didn't say
how the victims contracted the disease or how it
can be passed on to others."It is strange and it's
symptoms include headache and loss of sight. The
local and international health institutions are
already carrying out investigations on the causes
and treatment of the ailment."

Dr Adeyanju also allayed the fears of the
residents of the area and the state, stating that the
situation is under control.
